Executive Board: Volume 52
Linda Chen, Editor-in-Chief, joins the Santa Clara Law Review after graduating from Santa Clara University with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish, and traveling North America as a consultant for a nonprofit organization. During the summer of her first year, Linda worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Jacqueline Duong in the Juvenile Justice Division of the Santa Clara Superior Court. Building on her judicial experience, Linda also externed for Associate Justice Nathan Mihara in the Sixth District California Court of Appeal, and competed in the Honors Moot Court Internal Competition in her second year. This past summer, Linda clerked at the South Bay family law firm, Lonich & Patton, and will continue to do so in her third year. Linda has also interned for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
Shannon K. Quigley,
Managing Editor, joins the Santa Clara Law Review after graduating from
California Lutheran University with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in
Criminal Justice. During the summer of her first year, Shannon worked
for Santa Clara County Counsel. While in her second year, Shannon
worked for the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office, and during the
summer of her second year Shannon worked with the Placer County District
Attorney’s Office. Throughout her third year Shannon will continue to
work for Placer County and will compete with the Santa Clara University
trial team. Shannon has also completed internships with the United
States Secret Service, the United States Department of Justice, and the
Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia.
Peter Lim Felton, Senior
Technical Editor, joins the Santa Clara Law Review after graduating
from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Political Science, with a
minor in Economics. He is completing an M.B.A. concurrently with his
law degree at Santa Clara University. During the summer of his first
year, Peter worked as a judicial intern for The Honorable Mr. Justice
Michael J. Hartmann in the Hong Kong Court of Appeal of the High Court.
During the summer of his second year, Peter worked as an intern for the
Cerraho?lu Law Firm in Istanbul, Turkey. During his third year, he
participated in the Honors Moot Court External program at Santa Clara,
competing in New York in the Pace International Criminal Court
Competition. This past summer, Peter worked in Washington, D.C. as a
summer law clerk for World Vision, an international nonprofit.
Crystal Roberts,
Senior Articles Editor, joins the Santa Clara Law Review after
graduating from the University of San Francisco with a B.A. in Media
Studies, with an emphasis in Journalism, and working as a legal
assistant at the Hawaii firm Yamamoto & Settle. During the summer
of her first year, Crystal worked as a judicial extern for The Honorable
Judge Richard R. Clifton on the United States Court of Appeals for the
Ninth Circuit. While in her second year, Crystal participated in the
Honors Moot Court Internal program at Santa Clara, and served on the
boards of the Law & Business Club and the Pilipino American Law
Society. Last summer, Crystal worked as a Summer Associate for Wilmer
Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.
Peter Laidlaw,
Senior Comments Editor, joins the Santa Clara Law Review after
graduating from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Environmental Studies
modified with Economics. Prior to attending law school, Peter worked as
a legal assistant in the arbitration, litigation, and business
transactions practice groups at White & Case in Washington, D.C.
During the summer of his first year, Peter studied international
investment law in Sydney, Australia and worked as a law clerk for an
Australian barrister in Melbourne. Peter spent the summer prior to his
third year of law school working as an intern in the legal department of
the technology company Salesforce.com and focused primarily on data
privacy and business transactions. Peter also serves as a Pupil in the
William A. Ingram American Inn of Court.
